For my final outcome, I decided to do a range of upcycled clothing, made from a variety of old clothes and household items as it is something which I had experimented with previously in my work. Due to covid-19, I had to be more creative and work with what I had at home, while if we had still been at college I could perhaps had been a bit more adventurous with my work as I would have been able to use other materials and media, for example screen-printing etc, however I think the idea of upcycling is very much reflective of the future of fashion as people may have to start coming up with ideas to reuse/restyle items of clothing which may otherwise be sent to the landfill or burnt as a way to help combat climate change and ecological breakdown.
